🖋️ How It Works
1. Prepare Your Text
Please paste your full text into wordcounter.net to check your word count. This ensures you select the correct pricing tier.
Please ensure your text is eligible for use. I can only calligraph personal writing, public‑domain works, or texts you have permission to use. See bottom of listing for more details on Copyright & Usage Policy.
Your calligraphy will be written exactly as provided, so please double‑check:
spelling
grammar
punctuation
names
line breaks
scripture references
I do not make corrections unless you request them.
2. Place Your Order
Choose the correct word‑count tier based on your total number of words.
If you need help understanding tiers, you can tap word count tiers.
At the bottom of your order confirmation email, you will see a link to a form where you can enter the text for your calligraphy piece.
If you still need the link, please contact me at support@thecalligraphersletter.com or through my contact form.
3. Handwritten Calligraphy
Your calligraphy is created digitally by hand — every letter, stroke, and flourish is drawn manually. Nothing is automated, filtered, or AI‑generated.
4. Receive Your Proof
Your initial proof will be delivered within 3–5 business days.
You will receive:
One proof
Black text on white background
This is your chance to review the layout and ensure everything looks correct.
You’ll have 2 business days to request any small adjustments, such as:
centered vs. left‑aligned
slight spacing adjustments
moving the text block up or down
If I don’t hear from you by the end of the second business day, the proof is considered approved. You can learn more about this in Calligraphy Revisions.
5. Final Delivery
Once approved, I will send:
all five background color versions
your final high‑resolution files (JPG + PNG)
After final delivery:
Small edits (spacing, alignment, punctuation) → $10 fee
Large corrections (adding/removing words, missing lines, rewriting) → $30+ fee
You can explore examples of revisions in Calligraphy Revisions.
🖋️ Important Notes
Your keepsake will be formatted on one page.
The final size (8×10, 11×14, or 16×20) will be chosen based on your text to ensure the best layout and readability.
Most pieces under ~200 words fit on 8×10; medium‑length pieces may require 11×14; longer pieces (up to ~700 words) will be formatted on 16×20.
I will calligraph exactly what you provide, so please double‑check your text before sending.
Word count must be verified using wordcounter.net to ensure accurate pricing.
