Choose the portrait listing that fits your needs (single, couple, etc.)
At the bottom of your order confirmation email, you'll se a link to a form where you can upload your photo.
If you still need the link after checkout, you can reach me at support@thecalligraphersletter.com or through my contact form.
On the form, select the portrait style ordered and upload a clear, well‑lit image. Phone photos are perfectly fine.
For the best results:
No filters
Natural lighting preferred
Upper‑body or chest‑up photos only
For couple or wedding portraits: both people must be in the same photo
If a photo isn’t suitable, I’ll kindly request a new one.
Your portrait is illustrated digitally by hand using the photo as a reference — every line, detail, and shading is drawn manually. Nothing is automated, filtered, or AI‑generated.
I focus on:
Likeness and expression
Soft detail and clean lines
A warm, modern aesthetic
This becomes the foundation for your proof.
Your initial proof will be delivered via email within 3–5 business days.
You will receive:
One proof JPG
White background
3200 × 4000 px, 300 DPI
This is your chance to review the portrait and ensure everything looks correct.
You’ll have 2 business days to request 1–2 small adjustments, such as:
Slight color changes
Small tweaks to eyebrow or lip color
Slight repositioning on the canvas
Removal of a piece of jewelry or shirt graphic
If I don’t hear from you by the end of the second business day, the proof is considered approved.
You can learn more about revision types in the Portrait Revisions.
Once approved, you will receive your final high‑resolution files:
JPG file (white background)
PNG file (transparent background)
300 DPI, 3200 × 4000 px
Your files are delivered digitally via email and are ready for printing, framing, or sharing.
Portraits cannot be revised after approval.
Any changes requested after this point require a new portrait order, as even small adjustments often require redrawing significant portions of the artwork.
More details can be found on the Revisions & Proofs page.
