Portrait Revisions & Proofs

Proof Delivery

Your initial portrait proof will be delivered within 3–5 business days.

You will receive:

  • One proof JPG

  • White background

  • 3200 × 4000 px, 300 DPI

This proof allows you to check likeness, expression, and overall feel.

Small Adjustments (Included)

You’ll have 2 business days to request 1–2 small adjustments, such as:

  • Slight color color changes

  • Small tweaks to lip or eye color

  • Slight adjustments to eyebrows or lashes

  • Slight repositioning on the canvas

These are light refinements that do not require redrawing the portrait.

Large Adjustments (Not Included)

Large adjustments require redrawing major portions of the artwork and are not part of my portrait offerings. These types of changes cannot be completed as revisions and are not available, even as a paid upgrade.

Each item below is a large portrait revision and is not offered:

  • Changing facial expression

  • Making someone smile or altering their mood

  • Redrawing facial features (eyes, nose, mouth, jawline)

  • Changing the hairstyle

  • Adding new accessories or clothing details that aren’t in the photo

  • Creating new patterns or designs on clothing

  • Reworking proportions or pose

  • Switching to a different photo reference after work has begun

These changes require inventing or recreating details that do not exist in the original photo, which is outside the scope of my portrait style.

I can make small color adjustments to clothing (such as changing the color of a shirt), but I cannot create new patterns, textures, or outfits that aren’t present in the original photo.

After Approval

Once you approve your portrait:

  • Final files will be delivered

  • No additional revisions can be made

  • Any changes after approval require a new portrait order

Portraits cannot be revised after approval because even small changes often require repainting major portions of the artwork.
