Simple, clear guidelines for how you may use your artwork
All calligraphy and portrait pieces are custom‑created by hand. This page explains what you are allowed to do with your final files, what requires permission, and what is not permitted. The goal is to keep things easy to understand while protecting the integrity of the artwork.
Personal Use Rights (Included)
You are welcome to use your final calligraphy or portrait files for personal use, including:
Printing for home or office
Framing or gifting
Graduation announcements
Wedding stationery
Personal social media posts
Personal websites or blogs
Scrapbooks, memory books, or keepsakes
Personal use means anything that is not generating income, not being sold, and not being used by a business or organization.
You may print your artwork as many times as you like for personal use.
Commercial Use (Not Included)
Commercial use is not permitted without written permission.
This includes:
Selling prints, products, or merchandise
Using the artwork in a business, brand, or marketing materials
Using the artwork on packaging, labels, or promotional items
Uploading the artwork to print‑on‑demand platforms
Using the artwork in paid advertising
Using the artwork as part of a logo or brand identity

Copyright Ownership
All artwork — calligraphy and portraits — is created by hand and remains the intellectual property of The Calligrapher’s Letter.
This means:
You receive usage rights, not ownership of the artwork itself
You may not claim the artwork as your own creation
You may not alter, edit, or modify the artwork beyond what is delivered
You may not use the artwork to train AI models or upload it to AI tools
This protects the artistic integrity of the work and ensures consistency across all pieces.
Artist Portfolio Use
I may display your artwork in:
My website portfolio
Social media
Product listings
Marketing materials
This helps future customers see examples of the work I create.
If you prefer your artwork not be shared publicly, you may request privacy at any time.
Just email support@thecalligraphersletter.com with your order number.
Editing or Altering Artwork
To maintain artistic quality and protect the integrity of the work:
You may not edit, recolor, crop, or alter the artwork
You may not add filters or effects
You may not remove my signature (if present)
You may not use AI tools to modify or extend the artwork

File Sharing
You may share your files with:
Your printer
Your designer (for invitations, announcements, etc.)
Family members
You may not share the files publicly for download or distribution.
